The perfect vacation home sleeps 8 comfortably. The house is 10 minutes from hiking trails, fishing streams, downhill or cross country skiing. There are great biking and running roads nearby. Also, Indian reservations and quaint Jemez Spring are a short driving distance away. Just 15 minutes from Los Alamos, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Albuquerque, and 40 minutes from Santa Fe makes this the perfect location for relaxing and sightseeing. Note: Although this lovely vacation home is wonderful for eight months of the year, please be aware that winters in Jemez Springs can be very challenging with unpredictable weather and snow. 4-wheel drive vehicles or tire chains are a must to get up the hill. We strongly recommend that only those who are used to living in the mountains and in snow consider the use of this house during the winter from Dec.-March. All casas are non-smoking.
